Looking for SharePoint Foundation Server 2010 and SharePoint Designer 2010? (32-bit and 64-bit)

Posted on April 22, 2010 by Rolly Perreaux

I guess I was like every other Microsoft Geek today and started downloading SharePoint Server 2010, Office Professional 2010, Visio 2010 and Project 2010 from my Microsoft TechNet Plus account.

But alas, SharePoint Foundation Server 2010 (replacement for WSS 3.0) and SharePoint Designer 2010 could not be found on TechNet. You remember, those are the FREEBIES from Microsoft. So I get a tweet from my buddy Ivor from Ontario that they were located at the Microsoft Downloads site.

And sure enough here they are:

Posted on April 16, 2010 by Rolly Perreaux

So here’s a couple of good questions for my geek friends out there…

1. How many of you went to your Microsoft TechNet Subscriber account to get the latest and greatest Office Professional Plus 2010 OR Project 2010 OR Visio 2010 today?
I’m sure quite a lot, if not all of you did

2. Now many of you immediately went and downloaded the 64 bit version?
After all, your computer’s operating system is probably Windows 7 64 bit right?

3. Did you get a chance to read the View Details, before clicking the Download link?
