Got a great message this morning from a friend of mine and fellow Microsoft Certified Trainer, Raymond Comvalius. Raymond is from the Netherlands and at a recent event he mentioned my petition to the folks at WP7.nl. They host the Dutch Windows Phone community and they have written a small article on my petition.

A couple of months ago I upgraded my Windows mobile phone from a Samsung Focus to a Nokia Lumia 920. I am very happy with the upgrade. It was definitely worth it.
Now having said that, I am deeply disappointed with the Facebook app for Windows Phone. The thing that REALLY, REALLY bugs me about the app is…
If you tap on any item for to look at the details, when you press the Back key, the page is automatically refreshed and the user is taken to the top of the page every time. This can very frustrating, especially when you are attempting to get caught up on posts and events that are a few hours old.
So, what to do??

Seems like there has been an insurgence of people upgrading their phones from Windows Phone 7 to Windows Phone 8
But now you’ve got your new shiny phone (in my case a Nokia Lumia 920), configured your Start Screen and Lock Screen to look just right, but now you’re missing your Apps from your old phone.
So what are you going to do?
Sure you could go to the Windows Phone Store (no longer called Marketplace) and start searching and installing all your apps manually (if you can remember them all). But that’s gonna take a lot of time.
I have a better solution and it’s REALLY COOL
