Microsoft Project Server, SharePoint, Security and other cool things…

Good news for those needing more graphics power. VirtualBox 4.1 just released today. Here’s a quick executive summary:

• Support for full cloning can be done through the GUI or VBoxManage
• New wizard for copying virtual disks
• Experimental WDDM graphics driver will now support Windows Aero (see image below)
• SATA ports are now configurable through the GUI

Lots of goodness in this major release, but I’m not looking forward to updating all my virtual machines with the new version of Guest Additions.

Was pleasantly surprised to find out that there will be 7 sessions on Microsoft Project 2010 and Project Server 2010 at this year’s SharePoint Conference in Anaheim, California, October 3-6, 2011.

BTW, if you’re a PMP you need to attend Dux Raymond Sy’s session, not only will you be enjoy his session, (as Dux is a great speaker), but you’ll definitely learn something and the bonus is you’ll get 1 PDU attending the sessions
